The Capital Area Chapter of Michigan Interfaith Power & Light worked with the Southside Community Coalition (SSCC) to invest in solar panels for the SSCC's roof! SSCC received $38,136.50 in donations for the Green Energy Project. The 13kW solar panel array was installed this spring and will help reduce climate pollution while also helping the center reduce energy cost. The money saved will be used for programs and services for low-income children, youth, seniors and families.
